Intended use
MBLEM is a show and display product. Please read how it’s intended to be used before you fit it.
Safe fitting
01 Use a qualified installer
MBLEM is wired into the vehicle’s 12 V electrics. Wrong wiring can drain the battery or damage electrical systems.
02 A suitable fused supply
Connect MBLEM only to a suitable fused supply, chosen by your installer for your vehicle.
03 Keep releases and locks clear
Don’t fit it where it would cover or interfere with a camera, sensor, light, boot release or lock.
04 Think about the battery
Ask your installer how the display is powered, and how to avoid draining the battery if the vehicle stands unused.
- Have the lead routed and secured so it can’t be trapped, chafed or pulled when the boot or tailgate opens and closes.
- Fitting isn’t included in the price. We show what fitting involves on our installation page, but we don’t publish DIY wiring steps.
- Keep the unit, its lead and the adhesive backing away from young children.
- If you fit MBLEM to a vehicle, tell your insurer about the modification.
Using it safely
- Only change designs when the vehicle is stationary with the engine off. Never use a phone while driving.
- Display designs in show, exhibition, private-land and off-road settings, and check the rules of the event, venue or landowner first.
- Only display artwork you own or have permission to use. Don't display other brands' logos.
- If the unit or its lead is damaged, gets hot, or behaves unexpectedly, stop using it, have it disconnected by your installer, and contact us.
How to report a safety problem
If you think MBLEM is unsafe, or it has caused damage or an injury, email us straight away.
- Email mblemsupport@gmail.com with the subject “Safety report”.
- Tell us what happened, when, and which size you have.
- Include photos of the unit, the lead and where it’s fitted, if you can do so safely.
Conformity documents
We only list conformity documents here once we hold them and have checked them. No conformity markings or approvals are claimed for MBLEM on this site.
Recycling electrical items
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means electrical items shouldn’t go in your household rubbish. They contain materials that can be recovered, and some that can harm the environment if they aren’t disposed of properly.
- Take unwanted electrical items to your local household waste recycling centre.
